The days before going home to Dallas a week ago Friday flew by in seeing friends, trying to see friends, shopping, returning library books, and cleaning. I made it to Dallas on Friday afternoon.
My family had a nice few days together before Christmas. Ben and Lucy were with Mom, Dad, and I only until Christmas Day, so we pretty much holed away from all others until they left. Really I've done much of the same since then--watching TV and movies at home, going to the movie theater, shopping, reading, etc.
I did get to see Maggie yesterday (best friend since the 8th grade), and we had a great time catching up while shopping at the Galleria. I know I should try to see a few more of my friends who are around the area before I leave...but laziness is so appealing sometimes...
